We believe transparency, responsible sourcing and continuous improvement are essential to building a modern jewellery business with long-term integrity.
This page outlines our current approach to environmental considerations, product transparency and responsible sourcing practices.
Our Approach
Created Brilliance primarily specialises in jewellery featuring lab-grown diamonds and selected gemstones.
Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds produced using advanced technological processes that replicate the natural diamond growing environment. They possess the same physical, chemical and optical properties as mined diamonds.
We believe lab-grown diamonds may offer a lower-impact alternative to traditionally mined diamonds in certain areas of sourcing and production.
However, we recognise that all manufacturing activity has an environmental impact and we do not claim our products are entirely impact-free or fully sustainable.
Responsible Sourcing
We work with a selected network of manufacturing partners located in Italy, India, Thailand and Vietnam.
Where possible, we prioritise suppliers that maintain recognised ethical and operational standards, including:
- Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC)
- SMETA / Sedex ethical audits
- Relevant ISO certifications
We rely on supplier certifications, compliance documentation and long-term supplier relationships to support responsible sourcing oversight within our supply chain.
Precious Metals
Our collections primarily use precious metals including gold, silver and platinum.
Where applicable, selected collections may incorporate recycled precious metals sourced through approved suppliers. However, not all products or collections contain recycled materials.
We aim to ensure product descriptions and material disclosures remain accurate and transparent.
Packaging
We currently use a combination of packaging materials across our operations.
Where possible, selected packaging components may include recyclable or FSC-certified materials. We continue reviewing opportunities to improve packaging sustainability where commercially and operationally appropriate.
At present, not all packaging materials used across our operations are recyclable or plastic-free.
Product Transparency
We are committed to providing clear and accurate product information across our website, marketing materials and retailer communications.
This includes disclosure relating to:
- lab-grown diamonds
- gemstones
- precious metals
- material composition
- sustainability-related claims where applicable
We aim to ensure our product descriptions and marketing communications are proportionate, transparent and compliant with applicable consumer protection guidance.

We recognise that sustainability standards and expectations continue to evolve across the jewellery industry.
